Storage solution 7: Bathroom chest of drawers

Bathrooms are one of those rooms that can be a nightmare for tidy people. Especially if you live in rented accommodation with a basic bathroom. If you own your own home, and have been able to do it up you have probably utilised a clever solution that come with so many white suites, from bathroom designers these days.

Few of us are lucky enough to have a bathroom that would fit this in it...

...however this was my inspiration for my solution. Of course many lucky people have an airing cupboard in or near their bathroom, perfect for storing towels in...everyone loves a soft warm towel when they get out of the bath.
But what about everything else. WE  women love our products, shower, bath, hair, beauty the lot, and surrounding our baths and sinks with these products can create a real mess. So if you haven't got some clever built in storage..keep reading. I had an old chest of drawers, not a particularly nice one, but too practical to throw away, therefore I decided to use it in the bathroom:

Now I'm lucky I have quite a large bathroom, luckily really as I have a lot products and stuff, I have used it to keep all sorts in from a drawer of bangles, to pjs to cleaning products and bath products. However, if you don't have as much space:

don't panic, this small unit on the left is another perfect piece, any size is better than nothing to clear some clutter. Just be ruthless, throw about what you don't use, hide-away things you don't use everyday and just keep out the things you use all the time!!

So evaluate the space you have got and then start looking and you can clear the crap from around the bath and basin in no time.
